Student Programme

#CONEXPLO22 provides an ideal framework to encourage the integration between the academic world and the hydrocarbon industry. The Academic Relations Subcommittee, which is part of the Exploration and Development Committee, encourages the participation of Geology, Geophysics Petroleum Engineering students, and from other related careers, in the Congress activities.

The objective of the Student Programme is to connect students with the companies participating in XI CONEXPLO, so that they learn about the activities that geosciences and engineering professionals develop in hydrocarbon exploration and development.

Therefore, the Organizing Committee has provided for a scholarship program addressed to graduate students, as well as students under 30 years of age, professors or tutors. The Student Programme will also encourage students who attend the Congress – regardless they have a scholarship – to participate in the pre-Congress field trip organized by the Young Professionals Committee.

Scholarships:

The requirements for the scholarships are as follows:

  • Students of geology, geophysics, petroleum engineering and other related careers and who are in the last years of their studies will be able to apply. The sole condition is to study in Argentine universities and academic institutions.
  • Postgraduate students under 30 years of age, undertaking Masters or Doctorate studies, can also apply.
  • To apply for the scholarships, students will be required to submit an Abstract (on a date to be confirmed), which shall be related to any of the Congress topics.
