Call for Abstracts

Those interested in presenting a technical paper for #CONEXPLO22 (Themes, Symposia, Geotechnology Meetings) shall upload an Abstract to the Congress System (SISCON) for the Technical Committee’s evaluation and approval.

 

Subject to the approval of the Technical Committee, the Abstract submission implies the Author’s commitment to present the full technical paper. The deadline to submit Abstracts for the Student Programme is yet to be announced.

 

The Abstract shall have 100 to 400 words synthetically reflecting the objectives, methodologies applied and conclusions of the contribution.

 

 

Papers should be original and have no commercial purpose and/or contain any advertising message.

 

To present the accepted paper(s), at least one of its(their) authors must be registered to the Congress. The Instituto Argentino del Petróleo y del Gas does not provide for any expenses incurred by the authors of the technical papers approved.

 

 

• Plagiarism claus

 

The Technical Committee of the 11th Hydrocarbon Exploration and Development Congress considers that technical papers, without exception, must follow strict plagiarism standards. After a thorough review by renowned auditors in the oil and gas industry, papers considered intellectual or commercial plagiarism will be rejected. Authors of these papers will be duly notified by the Technical Committee.

Only the abstracts and papers uploaded to IAPG’s Congress System (SISCON) will be accepted.

  • > Abstract Requirements

    1. Abstracts can be presented in Spanish or English. The abstract shall be written in the same language than the final technical paper.
    2. A figure or image can be included optionally. No paper references or key words must be included.
    3. When uploading an abstract the author must select which Theme, Symposium o Meeting they suggest to submit their contribution to. The Organizing Committee has the right to accept or decline such a suggestion and is entitled to relocate the contribution in a different Theme or Symopsium.
    4. Authors must also indicate their preferred/proposed presentation mode for their contribution: oral or poster presentation, both or indifferent. The Organizing Committee has the right to change the presentation mode indicated by the author.
    5. Abstract acceptance does not imply automatic approval of the Technical Paper. Upon notification of Abstract acceptance, on a date to be announced by the Organizing Committee, authors will be enabled to upload their final Technical Paper for revision and final approval. Technical Papers must be from 6 to 20 pages long and must follow editorial rules that will be made public at a near time.
