Technical visit to CALCIC

We invite you to participate in the technical activity organized in the context of the Congress on Friday, September 27 at CALCIC facilities, and that will consist of:

 

 

10.00 am

 

- Opening reception at CALCIC

- Welcome coffee and visit to the facilities

 

 

11.30 am

Demo of an extinguishing  system for an oil storage tank, in charge of the fire brigade of YPF’s La Plata and Luján de Cuyo refineries.

 

• Maneuvers to reach the tank with water mist

• Extinguishing with water and foam spraying nozzles

• Explanation of the maneuvers carried out by CALCIC technical personnel

Career recognition awards to YPF fire brigade by CALCIC

 

 

2.00 pm

Closing lunch

 

The meeting includes round-trip from IAPG office to CALCIC facilities. The timetable is as follows:

• 8.30 am departure from IAPG’s building, downtown Buenos Aires

• 4.00 pm return from CALCIC

 

Activity free of charge for participants of the Congress on Health, Safety and the Environment in the Oil and Gas sector.
