Mature Fields, Its Future Development in the National Context
|
The development of unconventional oil and gas reservoir projects will take some time. To face the growing demand of energy, optimizing production in mature conventional fields becomes of outmost importance.
We must use new technologies to maximize results in these fields, thus reducing the operating costs in order to achieve an increase in production and reserves.
Some relevant examples are: reservoir re-characterization, optimization of the volumetric efficiency in injected water distribution, piping reduction, improved stimulations, tertiary recovery, digital fields, being within this technology, the implementation of local and remote sensors or mobile devices that would allow the improvement of productivity, undertaking of preventive measures and the assessment of impact on real-time.
In gas fields, the essential topics are optimal compression and removal of fluids that kill the well bottom hole. The application of new technologies on well drilling and completion is imperative. It is also necessary to have tools that ensure quick decisions and integral strategies in the long term.
The idea is that exhibitors focus on the central points to reactivate mature areas so as to increase production and reserves.
