Make your own wine – Norton Winery

Friday 7th of November
Departure: 9 am
Return (approximately): 4pm

Transfer to Norton Winery. People in the winery will be waiting for us to visit the wine areas, understand the wine cultura and make our own wine.
Winemaker for a day: Means the creation of your own wine. After the tour over the winery, the winemaker will introduce you in the creation of your blend wine by combining varietals. The activity lasts around 2 hours.
INSTRUCTIONS: (Prize to the best team) activity guided by the winemaker where he teaches how to make wine and the caractheristics of each varietal the winery produces. After this we divide into groups for developing this joyfull activity that will allow you to play and dream at the same time, in their own wine production. Each team should:

• Analize how are they preparing the blend
• Decide the percentages of each varietal for their wine
• Name it (explain why – meaning, mark / brand),
• Present the wine.

Once ended, the jury (winemaker and employees from the winery) will evaluate each wine and will give an award to:

• The best wine.
• The most original name with best image / presentation.

Elements of the game: different varietals from the winery. Pipettes. Decanters. Empty bottles. Corks.
Lunch at the end of the activity in the Casa Norton gardens or Restaurant La Vid.
